size. The sculpture is securely supported inside the crate with
specialized aterials from all sides. These measures ensure the artwork’s
rotection during transportation and minimize the risk of damage.

Created through a technically challenging process, "Rider" is not just a physical form but a conceptual exploration of control, inner conflict, and the relationship between human instincts and self-expression, provoking philosophical reflections on the nature of communication and identity.
Hand molding and two high-temperature firings are the foundation of quality and uniqueness.
The process of creating a ceramic sculpture consists of several sequential stages. The first stage is modeling, where the sculpture is crafted by hand. Once the figure is shaped, the drying stage begins. This process takes about a month and occurs at room temperature to prevent cracks or damage. Drying helps to evenly remove moisture from the sculpture, as rapid drying can cause it to crack.
Next comes the first firing, which is done at a temperature of 1250°C (2282°F). This firing strengthens the shape, removes any remaining moisture, and stabilizes the ceramic structure. After this, the sculpture becomes durable enough for glazing.
I then move on to the painting stage. I carefully select colors that harmonize with the material and reflect the intended concept of the piece. Once the glaze is applied, the sculpture is placed back in the kiln for a second firing at the same temperature of 1250°C (2282°F).
The entire process of creating the sculpture takes about two months. This period is not only filled with technical precision but also creative exploration, where every decision is made along the journey from concept to finished work of art.

The absence of a traditional anatomical context and realistic proportions creates a rift between physical reality and abstraction. This approach expresses the fundamental contradiction between the conscious "self" and the instinctual power that drives a person. The red palms act as a focal point in the transformation process, their brightness and intensity contrasting with the inherent innocence of the horse's body. They become a symbol of activity, striving, awakening, yet simultaneously devoid of their usual functionality, highlighting the contradiction between action and inaction, activity and inner passivity.
The transition from the human body to the horse's legs allows the sculpture to function as an object that belongs neither entirely to the animal nor to the human realm, but exists in an interdisciplinary reality, merging elements of fauna and anthropomorphism. This dual interaction is further reinforced by the use of contrasting materials and textures, where the smoothness of the clay is juxtaposed with the rough texture, reflecting the liminal states that lie between complete harmony and brutal struggle.
The process of creating this sculpture is not only technically complex but also deeply conceptual, opening up a field for philosophical contemplation on control, liberation, and internal struggle. There is something archetypal in this work: it raises the question of how a person interacts with their instincts, how, deprived of familiar mechanisms of action (arms), they attempt to find a way through gestures, which become their only means of communication with the external world.
