Art that creates a unique atmosphere in the home.
Welcome to Oly’s Sculptures
Hello! My name is Oly, and I am a sculptor. For more than ten years, I have been creating unique sculptures from ceramics and porcelain.
Each piece is the result of meticulous craftsmanship, inspiration, and a constant pursuit of perfection. My works are more than just decorative objects; they tell stories and inspire creativity.
I’ve been fortunate to see my sculptures find their place in interiors across the globe, from cozy homes to stylish offices.
Welcome to my website! Here you can explore my art and find something truly special. Every sculpture is a story waiting to become part of your space.
Thank you for visiting! I hope my work inspires you as much as it inspires me.
“Art is a necessity for humans, just as essential as eating
and drinking. The need for beauty and the creativity that embodies it is
inseparable from human existence, and without it, one might not even
desire to live in this world.”

The Philosophy of My Art
I have always been drawn to uniqueness—things that are not only beautiful but complex, filled with meaning, and demanding skill and courage from their creator. For me, ceramics is not just a material or technique; it is a path of self-creation, a way to express inner aspirations and push the boundaries of what is possible.
In each piece, I strive to embody the idea of creation from nothing, transforming simple materials into objects that carry strength and energy. Ceramics is my life, my practice, and my language through which I tell stories in form, texture, and feeling.
Clay
My choice of ceramics is no accident. This material combines beauty and vulnerability, much like life itself. Through my work, I explore different facets of the human experience—joy, dreams, sorrow, and sometimes encounters with timeless questions. Clay subtly emphasizes how easily what seems solid can be broken, reminding us that life is a gift to be cherished.
Fragile, like human life…
Clay and glass
Creating ceramic sculptures is a complex and painstaking process that requires not only creative skill but also a deep technical knowledge. Beyond the act of shaping clay, an artist must master the techniques of firing and glazing. Each step demands precision, as the slightest error can result in cracks, deformation, or even the complete destruction of the sculpture.
Like glass, clay possesses a delicate fragility, but with proper handling, it gains strength and durability. The artist must understand how the material behaves at high temperatures, how different glazes interact, and how to evenly distribute stress during firing. This process calls for patience and attention to the smallest details, as any stage could be critical to the final outcome.
Adhering to these techniques is not merely a technical necessity; it’s part of the philosophy of ceramics. Here, art and craftsmanship, intuition and precise calculation intersect, and each stage of the process becomes a step toward creating a truly unique work of art.
High-temperature firing
The process of creating a ceramic sculpture consists of several consecutive stages. The first stage is molding, during which the sculpture is created by hand. After the figure is shaped, the drying stage begins. This process takes about a month and takes place at room temperature to avoid cracks and damage. Drying helps to evenly remove moisture from the sculpture, as rapid drying can lead to cracks.
Next is the first firing, which is done at 1,250°C (2,282°F). This firing strengthens the form, removes residual moisture and stabilizes the structure of the ceramic. After this, the sculpture becomes strong enough for glaze.
I then move on to painting. I carefully select colors that harmonize with the material and reflect the intended concept of the piece. After the glaze is applied, the sculpture is placed back in the kiln to be fired again at the same temperature of 1250°C (2282°F).
The entire process of creating a small sculpture takes about two months. Making a large sculpture can take three months or more. This period is filled not only with technical precision, but also with creative exploration, where every decision is made on the journey from concept to finished work of art.
Details Create Character
Every detail in my sculptures is not just an element of form but an expression of the character, atmosphere, and emotional depth of my figures. Through subtle, meticulously crafted nuances, I convey the mood and inner world of each piece, bringing them to life and allowing them to tell their unique story.

A Story for Your Interior.
I create my works in series, and this is no coincidence. Each series tells its own story, helping to connect elements of the space and bring a sense of harmony to the interior. Sculptures designed within a single theme or style seem to converse with one another, creating accents that echo throughout the room, guiding the viewer through the space.
This approach allows not just to decorate but to infuse the interior with meaning. The sculptures can be placed in different areas of a home, forming visual connections that tie the space together into a cohesive composition. They emphasize the individuality of the interior and add depth, telling their story in every corner.
My goal is to create art that lives and interacts with your space..
